You can download the new Google Chrome beta here. Just make sure after you start downloading it, you close Google Chrome so it can update properly, else you'll have to start updating over again.

So far, I've noticed this really neat feature:

Does anybody else have any viewpoints on the update, and comments/concerns about Google Chrome in general?

When using any high-memory flash content such as a long video/3d graphic games, I use Firefox often for this because Google Chrome isn't so great at it.
I just downloaded it and don't seem to have such panel as you do.
I've always had problems with flash when using Chrome.
Can't really tell anything as I can't see difference :(
Does it crash as often?

I've been using Chrome for like a year now and it didn't crash a single time 0.o

About a year here and it crashes every three hours or so for me. It's really annoying when interface-wise no other browser can compare.

Might wanna look into your add-ons and plugins, among other things.
I don't mind it, although I must admit I was a bit surprised when one day, all of a sudden, my http:// was gone, my bookmark button was on the right, and the options menu got a bit bigger. Loving the extension syncing.

I'm running Windows 7, and I notice it doesn't like Flash too much. Once in a great while, it doesn't like spell-checking either and crashes. I noticed though, it doesn't do that on this Beta version (so far). When it does happen, and crashes, sometimes even if you hit refresh, what you typed is

I've been using Chrome on Windoze 7 and I've yet to crash it once. Youtube and Kongregate work fine, so I suspect Flash problems are something else on your computer.

I've been hopping between browsers because I'm tired of the small annoyances -- I'd stick with Chrome if it had a better ad blocker and a method of stealing streaming video like a pair of Firefox plugins.

I don't use plugins because they make it crash even more than it's doing now.

That's most definitely just you then.
Although, I have come across a bug that has started to annoy me a lot. Sometimes my pages render too widely, so I have to horizontally scroll to see a full page of stuff, like in the BYOND forums. I noticed it earlier today but paid it no mind, until it happened again a few minutes ago.

It can't be "just me" considering it's a program, not a product (Thank god...).
In response to Moonlight Memento
Well, it *can* be just you, because you're the first one I've ever heard say plugins make chrome crash more than it does normally (and I've only ever had it crash when it's removed from internet access).

I have a YouTube tab open all the time, which is Flash. It crashes more with plugins, and less without. How is it that it's just affecting me, though?

Google Chrome isn't too great with a flash plugin. For example, certain video controls don't even work in Google Chrome, such as a video hosted off of 4shared. I notice that when I listen to music off of http://playlist.com, sometimes it just crashes for no disputable reason, except that I was in the middle of doing a task with another tab open.
Windows 7 and Chrome go very well together. I've never crashed Chrome once, so I think it's with his computer rather than Chrome, haha.

I did notice, however, that on some websites, particularly the Guild Wars wikia (not wiki), a lot of the images don't show, while using Chrome. Firefox never had this issue, and still doesn't. I don't know why or how, but yeah. Kind of annoying sometimes. It could be the website having issues with Chrome, though. I don't know.

Other than that one little annoyance, Chrome is a great browser. It's my default, and I only fall back to Firefox to view the images I can't see on Chrome.

It's crashed way more since I reformatted. Which is a shame, because for the first time that I can remember, it's running flawless outside of Chrome crashing.
(oh I use Windows XP if it matters)

Chrome would still be my #1 browser even with it's crashing, because I cannot stand the ugly, space-wasting interface of Firefox.

Mine crashes pretty often and I have a tendency to have at least 3 tabs open. Maybe it has to do with the number of tabs and windows open at one time? I also at times have multiple things open that are running sometime of flash. (I like to middle click things a lot when I am reading stuff and like to load up videos that have ads on them all at once so I only have to wait 30 seconds once. etc.)
Whenever I try to use the spell check feature on the BYOND website Chrome crashes. :(

Yes, that REALLY sucks when you type out a very detailed post and all of a sudden... bam! Even when you hit backspace or refresh, you can't always get it back. However, oddly enough, ever since I have downloaded the beta of Google Chrome (And I'm a heavy user of it) I have only had it crash twice. Good luck? Probably.
