This isn't a bug; you're misusing the HTML system. If you want to use custom code like <font face=@system> and whatnot, you'll have to go into the HTML command for that character and choose custom, then put in your code. Putting code in the character's name will not be effective.

If you have anymore bug reports, please either post them on the RPI forums/shoutbox or wait for the next update. Thanks!
