Prologue
It was a cold and not very welcoming night that Lord Ambrose of Blackpool decided to send for settlers to build a town in a very heavily forested location, some distance away from the growing town of Blackpool. The year was 1235, and villagers and settlers gathered to construct the future town of Abingdon. The mayor that was elected was John King, a man from a wealthy family of merchants, and he had a vision of this village becoming a grand one in the coming years.
The first few buildings very raised quickly, and soon, the village would be flourishing, due to it being recently formed, which gave them the chance to experience an exponential growth of income and resources. Their main exports ended up being wooden planks, logs, and the likes, as well as weaponry, made by the skilled blacksmiths of Abingdon.
