This game is going to include new ideas with the least amount of ripped icons as much as possible.There will be no ripping of other games. I might use some demos(if needed), and if we do, I will post them to help promote BYOND members, and help people use them as well.
Game Base: The game is going to be based off of the show called "Heroes" (C) NBC, where people develop "abilities". In this game, you will create your own character and will go through your own story, based from the show. Except this time, you get to play it.
Server System: With this new server system, you will need to start off in the "Story Mode" server to play for the first time. In the story mode server you will create your first character, and will be able to train from there. Once you have completed at least 1 story objective, you will be able to start in the "Free Roam" server. Your character in the free roam server will have your powers and your experience from the other server. Your character won't be able to save until you finish your story mode first. I'll explain later.
Story Mode: Story mode will include different events from the show such as the eclipse. Each character will have a different story-line, which means that there will be a plethora of stories to choose from.
Free Roam: Although story mode takes up just about everything that there is to do on Heroes,we will add quests on the Free Roam server. The quest will depend on your power. Each power will have a different quest.
Training: In every game there are ways to train.But while other BYOND games give you training logs and meditation, we offer something unique. You will receive experience every time you complete a Story objective or a Free Roam mission. Additionally, you will get experience from using your powers. The more you use them, the more powerful your ability will increase. Using your powers will also increase your durability, helping to sustain an ability much longer.
Character Settings & Saving: When you create your character in story mode, you will be automatically saved. When you complete the first objective of your character in Story mode, it will be saved in a central saving system, so your character can be used in the Free Roam Server.
Mercenaries: When you join the free roam server, you will be given an option of alignment.However, you will not get a stupid pop-up telling you to choose your alignment. You will find people of either side that will ask you to join them. NPCs working for The Government will ask you to hunt down evolved humans and kill them. On the flipside, NPCs working for The Company will ask you to protect evolved humans. Certain times, the target will not be an NPC, and players will be asked to protect or kill other players.
