Please note: This project is still in early development stages, and must be manually rebooted before a new game can be started. Also, it does not end, and does not change over time, as the final release is intended to do.
B17: Fortress over Germany is an attempt at making a new arcade game in the same style as those found in malls in the early '80s. Multiple players control both a B17 "Flying Fortress" bomber a P51 "Mustang" fighter in an air-raid over Germany durring the second World War.
Control of both planes at the same time is very challenging, but also very rewarding. A novice player will abandon the P51 at the start of the game, and will hardly survive. The seasoned player, with his $10 allowance in quarters, will use the P51 to support his bomber and other friendly aircraft, and will live to see Berlin in flames.
The B17 is controlled via the number pad, with the center key (5) used to drop bombs. Alternatly, the B17 may be controlled via the arrow keys, with .center macroed to another key. The P51, however, is controlled via the mouse. It is better to send the mouse in the direction that you want the P51 to travel, instead of trying to pick a specific spot for it to go to.
