Only Windows users can play this game. If you have an emulator, you can join the waiting list to be informed when a new server is ready to play. Standalone Executable  You will have to exit your pager for this to work, if you use BYOND. There have been some issues with anti-virus programs flagging and deleting part of the program before running. Report any issues in the Forum! Description The LetterBox is a playground for players, allowing them to arrange letters, number, symbols and shapes in any color, size, and orientation that they please. This game comes packaged with in-built hosting, server polling, and moderation tools. This game also comes as in its own standalone executable, for players outside of BYOND! About The LetterBox project started in May of 2011, as a tecnical demonstration. It was supposed to be a test and a demonstration of the ability for multiple players to interact with the same set of objects over a network. The purpose of such, was to demonstrate the feasibility of a multi-player jigsaw puzzle game for the BYOND gaming suite. After a year or so, I picked up the project again and gave it some new life, rewriting and updating everything on the backend. It also became a new type of project, now to demonstrate how to create an all-inclusive interface, allowing guest players access to anything BYOND users have. It also now demonstrates the ability to create a complete, standalone package, for distribution outside of the BYOND community. The current plan is to, after release, use this interface for other projects. The LetterBox is merely a playground of sorts, for myself and my daughter, and for other players. Pretty much, it was to demonstrate that I could show multiple mouse positions from multiple users actively and reliably over a network and have screen objects that were interactive between all of the users.

None, none at all. It was a tech-demo. I'm going to be integrating it into The Saloon for Paul, but it really doesn't serve a purpose. It might be a nice little bit when we get Flash support though. It's really only meant for multi-player anyways.
