The stick figures don't seem stick enough.

You might want to redo the hud, the text is pretty bad :(

Also, you might want to consider auto-joining for the roofs and stuff, they look weird being a bunch of boxes.
I like the hud >_>.

The game isn't supposed to have great graphics, it's a stick-figure RPG anyway. Those are (nearly) never with good GFX. Even though I see this as a 'big' project, I'd rather keep it simple.

Although, I'm starting to agree with you about the 'boxes'. I'll fix that soon..

On the topic of HUD, are all of those HUD buttons necessary? I can't see anybody who would logically take time to click the say macro instead of just typing it. Communication HUD buttons have always confused the hell out of me.

All too often I see people making HUDs just for the sake of having a HUD when it really doesn't make sense to have one.
Well, at the very least, could you make marco fit on one line? And maybe switch "i.l." with "info"?

Yes, those are necessary. I don't have any verbs. The way I use HUD buttons, is that whenever you click it, your command_text changes into "say" or "macro". Basically, it's just this. They won't confuse you. =)

I'll release a preview soon so you'll get the hang of it -- I just got up and I don't want to type too much. >_>
Though, the game is single player. But it can be played multi-player too. =)
And Zaole, I know it looks ugly. I'm planning to remove it, and make it pernamently rain or snow in some specific areas where it's supposed to be cold or so.. but I'm not too sure, though. I'll give it a thought.

i think the HUD and the rest of the graphics look fine.

the weather would look better if you had a few different rain and snow icon states, that way it looks more random and less tiled.

haha. I never really noticed. Though, I did what OFD suggested. I made different icon_states.
