Well done. That actually looks like what I wanted with the legs, but couldn't quite seem to achieve in a quick edit. The whole icon looks a lot better to me, now, though.

The last issue is that the crotch is too high, his legs look more like puppet flaps, than something connected to a bone.
Lower the crotch a few pixels and it's a solid base. | |
Looks a lot like spirit age's base to me was it used as a reference in anyway? I don't like this base I'd go about it differently, your perspective seems funky.
