How to get more members on byond!

Remove the Anime Section ----> More creativity ---> More players
| \ \ \
| \ \ ----> More Admins to go around
| \ ----> Less Copyright and or INTELLECTUAL Property trouble
V ----- > Greater demand for byond memberships due to less rips
Less Trolls ---> More players who will stay in the games

Hopefully you can see the "Root" of our problem haaaaaaaahahahahahahahaugehhhhhhhh

Sorry to say, but this will not attract more players. In case you haven't noticed 80% of the people on BYOND on here only for the Anime selection of games. If you removed the Anime section, yes the communities would improve, yes creativity might jump, but no. You would not see more players. There is only so many people interested in playing free 16 bit 2-d games, and even fewer in developing them.

Your idea only looks good on paper, but would not work in practice. Like Communism.

Removing BYOND Anime would result in BYOND losing almost -all- of its player base. And probably all future income :p

Err. Less copyright and INTELLECTUAL Property trouble? We've had ONE incident. I do not follow the logic of 'less rips = more memberships.' Less trolls coincides perfectly with 'less players'.

This isn't logical or sensible. You're going to want to write this out a bit and explain all the cause and effect.

When you have a great community there are more players to come. Less Anime games brings in those guys and gals who like RPG or are too poor to buy an xbox 360 and play the action games. Losing a rotten portion of a site isn't as bad as it seems, especially when 50% of the people on the "Anime" games are AFK training or logged into the server multiple times.

Also there are 573 people playing in the Anime Section....there are 5050 something people online as of 7/8/10 10:29 AM Central

While the closest thing to comparing to those numbers is the RPG section which is 243 players. Although Anime is the dominant field here. Is it really worth the trouble? :]

You should rename this How to lose 98% of the BYOND playerbase. I dont see how this would bring in new players, but your shit logic does not surprise me given your working on a rip of my game.
