Pretty interesting.
Gave me a nice chuckle, and a new desktop wallpaper.
I hate when people make fun of potato farmers. Why do you think we get to enjoy things like McDonald's fries and Lay's potato chips?!?!

Without potato farmers, we'd have nothing!

I don't think that is much of a joy... specially the McDonald's part
Hah, sooo true.
I think I spend the majority of my creative process in the overthinking maze.
I think I spend most of my time on the racetrack... but in my world, the racetrack spiral upwards and I'm on a bicycle where the gears don't always work. Not only that but I carry the weight of time in a backpack that seems to get a little heavier with each lap.

One thing not particularly covered by that comic is that I like to think just making the journey time and time again, even knowing crashing and burning is the most likely scenario, is essential to building one's talent and allowing them to better learn the pitfalls of the journey.

Agreed. I also feel as though the map is biased toward failure. Obviously it was designed as a joke but I can see some value in having a real road map to constantly reference before, during and after projects. It can help answer the "Where did I go wrong?" question. If a developer is constantly going off course in the same area, what can they change to improve things? More specifically, what earlier area do they need to invest in?
