In some forums I've seen, as you type in the subject for a new topic the forum is automatically searched and the results displayed on the side of the page. This could be useful in the Developer How-To and Code Problems forums as well as the Bug and Feature trackers for the people who are too lazy to search manually. It might possibly even cut down on all the "BYOND for iPhone/iPod/iPad" and similar posts.
