I'm still hoping someone would answer my question. What would it require to get a piece of fanart online legally?

I don't believe so from reading those guidelines for creating a DBZ fan-site.
what?
The theft issue is a lame thing that cannot be justified based on anything.
The whole rights issue is a weak arguement too because say for instance Im a game programmer and I made a Halo demo and sent it to microsoft to get a job. do you think they would really sick the dogs(lawyers) on me just cause I used Halo? no. but if it was on the other hand where I made a halo demo and started to sell it on ebay saying O this is gonna be better than Halo...then....thats a different issue.

Property rights are there to protect the property holder from others profiting off their work. Fan based stuff thats made but not sold doesnt count as profit end of story.
Man when you make shitty blogs like this you are asking for trouble. If you weren't complaining so much about BYOND and how valuable your game is(Your game sucks) then people wouldn't feel intimidated and challenged.By making this tl;dr blog you are basically shouting out to people who steal sources as someone who is going to react to their trolling attemps. If you pretend to not be bothered and keep in close contact with BYOND mods then you will have a pleasant experience.

Source files for Naruto GOA:

http://www.sendspace.com/file/r6sfkm
Any particular reason why you're trying to spread that?
if i like the way a leaf blows in a tree, i have to write a letter to said tree asking if i can copy the its leaf's physics? ....bull.

Iain perigrine i have read books on game design. Not a single one mentions that you must reinvent the wheel. The Art of game design is creating experiences. People who watch Naruto have their interest expanded by fangames such as these. Hell i started to read the manga because of the game(random link). If anything we are helping said IP holders.

Do games that have hitler in their name contact germany asking if they can make an fps about him? no

To conclude. I believe that taking ideas, modifying and even bettering them is okay. But downloading that source below. drawing a half assed susano on paint and hosting Naruto (Generic name) Version 0.1; is plain wrong and such things should not be allowed.

P.S: i buy licensed games for naruto im pretty certain im allowed to make my own... they arent losing out, think of it as advertisement.
Why in whoever's name is this still ongoing. I'm pretty sure this guy quit BYOND already.
