OK, Nirvana is an awesome band...yes I am just figuring this out, and I have I known about the lead singer for a long time. I find it said that he had to do that.
Anyway, Nirvana is awesome is basically what I am saying, i figured I needed to post something to not waste this. If you don't know who Nirvana is, you are lame-tastic. Don't feel bad, I didn't see the light until a couple days ago.
But now that I have, I feels special andd cool. Nirvana = awesome.

I've loved Nirvana since I was just a wee one, roughly 4. My dad used to blast Smells Like Teen Spirit, sometimes I just wish I could relive those times.

Hmm. What the hell's the big deal? They were pretty good, sure. Best band in the world, probably not. Caramon, I don't get the lyrical content, either. Take, for example, Smells Like Teen Spirit, their biggest hit: With the lights out, it's less dangerous Here we are now, entertain us I feel stupid and contagious Here we are now, entertain us ... Sweet? If anybody gets any sort of emotion from reading those lyrics alone, best wishes to them. Nirvana's claim to fame was Kurt's yelled vocals, and there's really no two ways about it. BAND NAME HERE is an awesome band and if you don't like BAND NAME HERE then you are an idiot and you clearly don't understand them or their superior music. SONG TITLE is their best song, and if you disagree then you have no soul.

Nirvana was in no way a very talented band. People just learning to play are taught their songs. Sometimes people crave simplicity. Their lyrics are pretty touching, though. As Kunark said, they get a lot of attention becuase of Kurt Cobain. I wouldn't call them awesome either.

Cool, someone else who agrees. I mean, sure, he used to brag to his frineds as a kid that he would become a rock star and then blow his own brains out so he wouldn't have to live through watching hi sband become unpopular,, but at the same time there was way too much heroine in his system for him to have stayed conscious long enough to take all of it. I admit, they're not the best, but they are pretty awesome. Sure, their lyrics might not make that much sense all the time, but who cares. Rock is not about sense and sanity, but about something that sounds cool. | |
Nirvana is a good band, not the greatest. But I remember those days. Stone Temple Pilots own them :) thats my opinion.
