Poll: Training in Infinite Realms

Slower training 35% (10)
Stay the Same 25% (7)
Make two servers one for fast training and one for slow training 39% (11)

The polls are now closed.

How does training work in that game? If its the same retarded "self train" verb then just remove that entirely, its the dumbest idea, and can hardly even be called gameplay. Watching numbers go up while your icon punches are isnt fun.

Make a new training system, or just omit it entirely in place of something like actual gameplay.
You mean something more on the lines of stat based, where kills in themselves give you the ability to lvl up and not traioning or bag training and so on

I second this notion.
I dont know what its like now, but just go for a decent pace, not too fast and not too slow. Nobody should be getting immensely strong within a day of playing.

In games such as these, you can reach the highest transformation in about 30 minutes of playtime and have billions of power level. After you "accomplish" that (which you do by pressing Self-Train and sitting there doing nothing), there is absolutley nothing to do in the game. These rips are horrendous and have no play value or fun value to them whatsoever.

We need some quality DragonBall games.
Slower training - Boring. You just stand around and it's called "Training", honestly? That isn't training, training is getting involved in the activity, doing something to actually improve your characters. Standing around doing nothing, isn't training. It's standing around. You might as well name the verb to "Standing around and instantly gaining stats"

Fast training - What's necessary is the point of faster training? Suddenly you get these massive stat points and you're God. Nothing related with "training" is fast, training takes time and with time you gradually improve your character. It's just like working out in a gym, you don't rapidly gain muscle and shred fat. You're actually in the motion, participating and working hard to gain that muscle back and shred the fat to improve your overall being. But this isn't real life and this isn't the Gym.

Rather you have your players earn everything quickly to where the game is boring and everyone is just running around killing each other with one hit?

They're going to quit, they already achieved what they wanted in a split second. They've killed probably the whole server and now they're going to move onto something new because there isn't anymore to do on your game. It's a Dragonball Z game, there's probably no content in it to make it seemly better than the rest of the games alike it. So the rate of which they get bored easily increases tremendously and you're left with a dead game or a game with 7 players at most on it.

- Shrug.-

So, whats the verdict.
Well the verdict is that I'm going to go with a PvP training style

Wise decision but do that in Unholy prayers as well.
