I don't know about you but I supported Ron Paul. RP got second place at over 180 votes, 10%. Lost by a lot to Romney. Who did you support? What do you think about Romney becoming the Nominee?
It was kind of a given at this point. Every other candidate has dropped out of the race or has completely stopped obtaining any media attention at all. R.Money is a terrible pick for the repubs, they lose the religious base, the VP pick scares off any centrists, and overall Romney is the least charismatic pick possible, he will lose the charm campaign against Obama in a big way, think Bob Dole versus Bill Clinton steamrolled.
Whoever wins, we lose.
Ron Paul does not support separation of church and state, and he does not consider global warming an issue. He is pro-life, pro-creationism, anti-UN, anti-FEMA, anti-immigration, anti-NATO, anti-gay, voted against regulations to keep lead out of childrens' toys, promoted legislation that would have allowed segregation of private schools, promoted the idea of privatizing all schools under the pretense that "education is not a right", and is proudly supported by hate group Stormfront and paranoid conspiracy theorists. He even opposes water fluoridation.

These are some of the many reasons why I will never support Ron Paul.
Loads of common sense in this video about voting:
Pretty simple really, all the other candidates were Right wing religious nut jobs, which might be great for the republican party base, but not very good at getting independent and democratic voters to switch over.

Politically, he was the logical choice against a candidate like Obama, who wins votes ideologically instead of through practical action.
The people didn't choose Romney. They were brainwashed to choose Romney. There is evidence the media controls the voter's decisions, not the voters.
Wait...are you actually implying that voters actually had anything to do with the nomination of Romney?
The most the voters have to do in the election is approve of him being on the ballot in their state.
After that, it's up to each parties' Convention, and then the Electoral. We don't do anything important after Primaries.
Well there is the general election. After that its up to the electoral college.
The general election doesn't mean anything.
Yeah it does. Its polling.
Popular vote does not decide who wins the election.
Indeed.
So, then, we're in agreement that the electoral college needs to be abolished.
I'm not sure. Maybe.
Mitt Romney IS The Anti-Christ.
That's a touch strong. He's a rich dude in a suit, which isn't quite the same thing as a mythical flame-engulfed forbearer of the end of the world as we know it.
Stephen is right, the anti-christ will be blind in one eye (cough, Gordon Brown)*.

* This is a joke. Its also UK politics. And I quite like Gordon Brown.
Gordon Brown called an older middle-aged woman bigoted, he's good in my books.
