Well, what have I gotten done.

Of the unnamed Roguelike-Zeldaish game most of the gameplay basics are done.

I have finished basic gameplay, handling items, equipment and dungeons (but still need to actually make dungeons).

Basic enemy AI is done and can easily be customized for whatever needs.

Of the weapons and items, I have done all basic healing items, and a random assortment of weapons, about 25 or so.
I still need to do armor, but it is a pain in the ass to draw (due to overlays and whatnot).

As for graphics, I have done a fair chunk of them. Most of the grass and forest like turfs, a few buildings, a few enemies for the first dungeon, animations and player graphics.
Still got a fair lot of graphics to do though, especially animations, which I hate.

Graphics look so far like

And ingame they look like.

I am getting things done fast so far.
But the downside is the coding is horrible as hell, not commented, sloppily written, probably full of bugs.
Graphics don't look too bad, but are very simplistic, and the quality at times is less than desirable.

Also, chances are the game will have a small player cap.
Mainly due to BYOND lacking any inbuilt saving/loading map features, and libraries to handle this do it well enough, but are slow as hell. (Maps 60x60 to 100x100 in size can cause noticeable freezing within the game, which I assume would effect all players, which if there is a lot of players would become very annoying, very fast).

Once I get the first dungeon done, and add a few more needed features I will probably host the game for a day or two for testing.
