At least people could actually tell that it was a helicopter. It is my art, after all.

NO POKEMANZ RIP! lol
Looks great :) |
Well Branks, my palette is the Gameboy palette which is pretty much the perfect 4 color palette.

I'm loving the look of all these games coming from that restriction (including mine). They all look very sexy.

Yeah, I'm in. I've been dying to do a game with an old-school gameboy palette. Trying for the 5 color theme and the 320px limit. I'm targeting an inset size of 320x240, Does the size limit include the interface border? I've not accounted for the default 8 pixels of space on either side left by the window itself...
I have NO idea what I'm doing. Just slapping things together, and hoping that a workable 4-player game will come from it. I've been slapping together code and graphics frantically over the last day, trying to make up for the time I lost this weekend. I reckon I'll sit down and plan out the gameplay and features around what I already have done. Right now, the game plays a bit like a Zelda game, but with a few spicy twists. The items in the hotbars are the bomb, the bow and arrow, and the gale staff. Obviously, no violence was a bust for me. Can't promise 4-player co-op, though. I'm hoping to be feature complete by thursday, and spend the time after that on level design and attempting to implement some sort of class system. Class system might not be workable, though. We'll see. 2x scale version across the hop: http://imgur.com/SsuQa |

No, the Windows theme border doesn't count towards your size. (:
Looks great so far, though! |

No, the Windows theme border doesn't count towards your size. (: Appreciate it. I also noticed you were allowing scaling, so long as we introduce it as an option toggle, and also scale the elements on our interface to keep the same resolution as the viewport scaling. That's a much appreciated distinction, as I am really straining to see what the hell is going on in my game due to atrocious eyesight and a high resolution monitor. Also: Roughly figured out what it is that I'm doing. Game fusion, new ideas with old. Gonna see how this plays out, and what the BYOND community thinks of my hybrid. Think Dark Souls crossed with the Legend of Zelda: DX |

Looks pretty violent to me. Balls and a helicopter? Shiz man.
