Is now sorely mistaken, at least for station design:



Not so much the characters themselves. If anyone can actually draw people, though, I'd like to make a new set like this for BayStation.

Also, despite the lattice looking like a flipped goon design, I like the way it fits together, so I made my own with another pallette in reverse.

For those of you who are "impressed with my ability to draw the color gray," these shots don't have things which would ordinarily be there if this were a full SS13 set, like bright red wires, or the paint on the airlocks and floors.

nah, i saw them when the blog post was first made. they were equivalent to the artistry of a 6 year old (just like everything else in SS13)

maybe he used some totally different site for uploading them and they got trashed really fast

Look, while I do admire the graphics and implementation of the goon servers, what I don't like about them by a long shot is assholes just as bad as Zaole here who somehow get admin and start banning people because they don't like their key, or other such drivel.

I don't think the Goons prize their drawing ability so much as their ability to lampoon just about anything. However, hey, not a bad tile set.

I see you've got an interesting lighting model there, the tiles getting darker the further away they are from a light source.

That's DAL, it's Shadowdarke's tech, not mine. It does look smoother with these tiles, though, probably because they're dark in the first place.

Also, as far as goons go, yeah, but their tileset, and their frequent updates, are what draw people to Goonstation.

Well, I have definitely learned that not all of SA.com is represented by SS13. The pubbie thing really annoys me though. It's like people either think they were born goons, or suddenly gained respectability through paying money to Grand High Overlord Lowtax an' all.
