Its not literally halved as in he can only bring out four tails. The way they are split is between yin and yang chakra, body and soul, or something along those lines. If youll look, youll notice that the 8 tails naruto looks absolutely nothing like the 9tails, its not like he is coming dangerously close to being anything like the full kyuubi, just because you have 9 tails doesnt make you the 100 foot tall demon fox that destroys mountains with its tails.

I want to know...What Itachi was planning with Naruto, he is always shrouded in mystery.
Better yet... Kabuto apparently brought back Itachi with no eyes...And Deidara, which is sorta "WTF" since he went BOOOM! I just want Madara to betray Sasuke and make him look like a fool >.> | |
Edo Tensei uses a human vessel and then will place the soul of whom you want to "revive" in that body. It will restore their looks and such. So Kabuto didn't and did bring them back. However I think Itachi is eyeless, but how he knew about Nagato and got some of his DNA is beyond me.

...Edo Tensei doesnt need DNA to revive someone, after studying it i dont really know how it works myself, but what i know is that when you use the technique a portal opens in the ground and thats where the dead bodies turn to ash and then become the cody of the guy ur ressurecting, also they get their soul in the portal, but when you ressurect them you still need fuda tag to make them remmember their former lives and let them use their techniques... i think thats it... And Also Dan, we could seen Killa Beeee! transform into the full hachibi in the battle with sasuke... but then when Killa Bee was fighting Kisame, he transformes into 8 tailed human form, so that means that when Naruto gets better at controling Kyuubi he will be able to change into beast for aswell... his just crap at controling it :/

I'm pretty sure Edo Tensei does require the remains of the person you are trying to revive. I'm certain they said that Orochimaru escavated the remains of the hokages in order to revive them for that battle. The ability to revive anybody without even any physical requirement would be too broken imho, plus it explains what kabuto has been doing since Orochimaru died. He has been running around spying on these battles and collecting corpse samples before zetsu can clean up the mess.

Just its weird.... that he managed to get deidaras sample... when he got blown up, maybe he did it in the Gaara rescue arc, who knows? plus i dont really care bout edo tensei except for the bit that... Itachi is backz! (ye i know his like a puppet, but still!)

Go rewatch when orochimaru used it against the third, and you'll understand the technique. | |
