It's amazing how deep into the game people have managed to get after only a few days. It's also pretty incredible how good players are getting at battle strategies in PvP combat. Taking both these factors into consideration, out of the flurry of new guilds that have formed since NEStalgia's release the guild that stands out the most is TSH.

The leading three members of TSH use the classic Warrior-Healer-Caster (Soldier, Cleric, Wizard) party makeup to devastating effect. Solemn (Rylar Deathbringer), Magnus (Lumino) and Zaih (Nabutso the Red Mage) have already torn through the release content and crushed almost every other player/guild who has opposed them.

One of the first true challengers to Balzackian dominance in NEStalgia, TSH only recruits serious players and uses a Ventrillo server for communication. I didn't even think to capture a screenshot of one my battles with them yesterday because I was too busy concentrating on trying to win. Said over Balzackian GuildSay last night by a member of the leadership: "TSH is the only guild I respect."

When the as-of-yet unrevealed PvP Colosseum enters the picture sometime in the next week, I expect TSH to give most players a run for their money in PvP Tournaments. Will any other new guilds step up to the challenge?

************

From time to time I'll make a blog post featuring certain players and events in the world of NEStalgia. We've got a cool little community growing around the game, and I can't wait to how it will evolve over the next few weeks.
This game sort of reminds me of the Pokemon games on GBA.

The signs, the grass that determines what monster pops up, and of course the turn based battle system.

You can also catch slimes and ghosts :O
Next week I will return with my new laptop and start back up, The Enigmatic Gallivanters. It will only consist of me, and I will cry to myself all the time!
Solemn mean. :(
We folks down at the Bandwagon will be sure to crush them. ;]

Yeah, because Pokemon was the first and only game to ever have these things.

I'm not going to say TSH as a guild is dominate, but the founding party that you mentioned definitely is. Y DIDNT U USE DA GM POWERZ WHEN WE FOT DEM?!
I'm not really all that impressed with the guild, but I've never fought or seen them fight fair. From what I've seen so far, they tend to do most of their PvP against unfair odds out in the wilderness, 3v1.

I'm sure Amar, HK, and any high level cleric would easily give them a run for their money.
We PK people over us as much as people under us.

This. I have yet to see them on a level playing field. They tried to get me(alone) in Bedoe earlier, and when I got a party together, they wanted nothing to do with me. Cowards are not people you should respect, only dislike.
That "guild" lacks character. Which is what you need to make it in this world, that world, and the other.

Probably because we only kill a person once per spree. We may be murderers, but we aren't total bastards. If you wanted to fight, feel free to challenge us anytime.
I quote from the most boastful of all the TSH: "Garr wsays: TSH is the coolest guild we kill people and don't afraid of anything"

Yeah... BZ FTW.
Yeah, I've always had to face them 3vs1, me being a level fifteen soldier, I don't stand a chance in hell. But I'll lay it on the line, even one member is enough to ransack my ass and plunder my gold. Though, TSH members always catch me when I'm down on HP and (haha) when I go to heal up, I'm dead in a New York minute. I have to admit though, 3 (Probably) 20+ level characters is a good strategy up against a level 15 soldier.

But it's also a very cowardly strategy.

Yeah, but you can either bitch about it or level up, join a party of 20s and get one of their members alone and ass-rape them. Which is what I plan to do.

Remember this, are you a bitch? or a bitch maker? You have one choice.
Don't bother mentioning anything about TSH killing you. They can brag about their epic win against you 3v1, and about how awesome they are, but as soon as you say anything a wide assortment of "B'aww" and "umad" fills the chat. "why u mad at an internet game?"

Open pvp isn't the problem here. The problem lies with the guild "doing their runs" where they just run from one side of the map to the other and kill everyone. I've yet to be killed from this, but I've seen many people complain openly on the world channel, only to be taunted, and then muted. Not exactly great community standards. It's no surprise that TSH guild consists of FFO players, everyone knows how great their community is.

So you get no choice, if you play this game, expect to be jumped very often from a group of high level players, and don't bother saying anything about it, because it's part of the game and you'll just be taunted and then muted.
They're a cute little group of fellows.

I'll give them that.

It will be interesting to see what they do as they mature as a guild.
