SNEStalgic: Introduction

Welcome to the first glimpse of SNEStalgic, the brand new RPG coming to BYOND this month. We've been keeping this game under wraps since last year(our design doc dates back to April 16th, 2009), but we're finally excited to show some progress. This is an extremely limited viewing, we've changed a lot around in these pictures to keep you from seeing everything, so keep that in mind.

These pictures were expertly taken to shatter your idea of what a screenshot can and should be.



There you have it, a first glimpse. Here, you can see our first class, the Mushroom Warrior. The game will feature six character classes, as well as guild support, and you don't have to pay nine dollars a year to get it! Oh, and its guaranteed to be the most polished and professional game that BYOND can deliver! And all of this surprisingly under 2MB, cool huh?

Rest assured, an incredible amount of work has gone into SNEStalgic, and I couldn't be more proud with the results. Get ready and mark your calendars for:

Cool, a fan game to Nestaliga! I didn't except those for at least a year or so. I'm looking forward to trying it out!

It's just that good. Ever hear of anything else producing sequels before release? And no, prequels don't count :P

I'm impressed!

If this is half the game NEStalgia will be, then it will be quite a game.

I have long been a fan of SilkGames as well, and from what I have seen he is delivering something that should be everything he has claimed.

I love the fact that the SilkGames group is already inspiring others to follow in their footsteps and make games of a higher caliber. You folks have found inspiration in the right place. Hopefully you will be able to ride the baffles of SilkGames success and be the first among many to likewise succeed in creating a superior game.

This is just an idea, kind of random. But why don't you folks both advertise for each other? The only thing better than one great game is two great games working together to revitalize Byond. I have known Silk for awhile now, and I think he's the kind of fellow that would be willing to help a fellow coding group out, especially since you guys are following his lead. It really helps both of you get a boost in the right direction!
