Based on what I've seen you do in the past, and how much you've argued me when I've tried to correct you, I personally wouldn't hire you to do squat.
(Completely ignoring the fact I have no need for your services, by the way.) |

ive seen his programming skills in action ^_^ and ive known him for years The point I was making is: He doesn't take correction very well. And if he doesn't take correction very well, it means he's too stubborn to understand that even though something works, it doesn't mean it'll continue to work or work in other circumstances. Take a loot at this for instance. I battled forever and a day to convince him to make his output standards compliant. And rather than listen to someone who has way more knowledge in the field he's working in than he does, he decided to compromise by providing the correct method I showed him, and continuing to offer his incorrect method. At the same time, belittling mine to make it seem inferior in some way. |

What ya lookin for Tac? I "MIGHT" help ya out. Turns out this codin for cash bizz isn't as cracked up as I thought it'd be.

Tiberath, just so ya know I actually have been trying to do things the "correct"(ish) way. I've been attempting to optimize my scripts to make them more universal, and at the same time create scripts that would use less CPU then others. So I'm moving forward. And I'm pretty sure after our little debate I've used the <span> tag over the <font> tag 90% of the time. SOOO :P!!!!!
*edit* I just find it annoying when someone comes to me and seemingly trys to find a flaw in what I've done just to find a flaw. |

You mistake "finding a flaw for that purpose" with "telling someone they're obviously doing it wrong, while providing knowledge on how to fix it". I didn't seek you out and then comb through your code to find fault. I found your post, checked it out, and commented on the obvious error that was glaring in front of me, in a constructive criticism kind of way (at least at the beginning). If you can't take that, you'll quickly find that you'll have a lot of problems in the programming field. |

Given prior discussions between us, I think it's safe to say: I am right. ;) Yeah, because no one uses the font tag anymore. |
Head->Wall.
You aren't getting the picture, which is why I wouldn't hire you for squat. It's not a matter if people do or don't use it, it matters that it's not standards compliant and has even been depreciated. |

Head->Wall. Well good, cause I wouldn't work for you anyway! Comin around here buggin me over some un-importent crap. |
If you want to work at a professional level, you know, the level necessary to get paid, you're going to have to learn that the stuff I talk about isn't "unimportant". And until you do figure that out, the only people that are going to hire you are kids that'll either refuse to pay you, or people who wont pay you very much.
Your attitude is the precise reason why no one should hire you. Until you learn this, anyone who hires you is making a mistake. They're getting code that may suddenly cease to function for no apparent reason, and their going to have more trouble tracking down that fault than they should. |
