Project - EXCEED

My latest project "Exceed" is a new type of game to come to BYOND. Gameplay is, from a large list of songs, you select a song and a difficulty and are sent to the game screen. On this screen you have 5 rows, with colored buttons rowed on the bottom corrisponding to a certain key on the keyboard
(Z,X,C,V,V). Notes start to scroll down the screen with the beat of the song and when they hit the bottom you must press the corisponding key. The game is easy to understand, hard to master. Here is a screen shot.



Note the screen is not done either.
Anyway, depending on how accurate you hit the button you will get a score and a "PERFECT" "GOOD" or "MISS". Each one adding to your score, or subtracting. At the end of a song, depending on score and number of Perfects, Goods and Misses you will get a letter grade of S,A,B,C,F.

I am really hoping for this project to go well, post any feedback.

Well, I took the idea from an older Bemani game(they helped make DDR also) so in thought, it is similar in ways.

BYOND isn't good for these reaction type games. There's always some system lag that gets in the way. Never smooth. :\

So far it's been smooth, I also have mutliple button pressing in...Just gotta work on getting those notes on time!

No it's not a DDR Rip you retard. As I said IT IS BASED ON AN OLDER GAME MADE BY THE SAME COMPANY WHO MADE DDR.
