A Monopoly clone. Currently I don't have A.I. active, so you will have to find at least one other person to play with. It is virtually almost complete, gameplay wise.

Only thing I want to add is some visual effects to show upgrades on the properties, and something that will show which properties belong to who on the board. Then, I need to write out the cards and have a small pane pop up that shows the card. As of now you will just receive an output that says, "something (-)num" depending if you gained or lost gold.

I'm sure there's probably other things I'm going to add, but I'm not thinking of.

Pretty much to play hit the join button. The first person who hits join with decide when to start the game. They can only start the game if there is at least one other player. All the commands you can choose from are right under the map. The buttons will only appear if the command is an option(Unless you don't have the gold to buy a property I need to change that). So, it shouldn't be too hard to figure out what to do, I'll right a help file later.

You can click any property to view it's stats(owner, value, amount of upgrades, if it's for sale, name, etc.). If you own the property you can set whether it is for sale or not and the amount you want for it. You can also upgrade it to increase it's value, you can have 4 farms on it then a castle.

Also, the plundering option is the sword button. If you want to plunder an owned property when you land on it select that. Basically the die are rolled. You each have a 6 sided die. Who ever rolls the highest wins. If the owner of the property wins, the plunderer gives up 20%(compared to the normal 10% for paying tax) of the properties value. If the plunderer wins they gain 10% of the properties value.

Have fun I hope it's some what enjoyable. It will only get better. I haven't actually tested most of this. So, if you run into bugs please report them here. It's hard doing extensive multi-player testing by yourself. Also, if you would like to see anything changed, or have a suggestion feel free to post it here.

When I wake up I'm going to finish the rest of the game, so I hope to know most of the bugs so I can start beta testing. Sorry, for grammar/spelling/understandability I'm tired as hell.
I'm just curious are you going to make this more like monopoly? Or just keep it like it is now?
Well I still have a lot of work to do, but it basically is Monopoly. It's just a little more random. If some of the rules aren't what you are used to, eventually you will be able to select what rules you want to use when you start a game. Though plundering will always be an option.

This is pretty much a game I used to play with my siblings when I was younger and Monopoly got boring. It was played on a Monopoly board with no extra resources.

The railroads aren't in yet, I'm still searching for an icon for them.
Great theme really. I've got a couple quick bits of feedback.

- I have no idea what the cards ("colored places") represent and I have no idea which ones I own and for what purpose or end. I know I can click on them to see additional info but why would I?

- There is no involvement or thought required by the player which I think is a missing element. I beleive I could just close my eyes and click in the same place to play the game (win or lose). I had this problem in Coloropoly. I just didn't add enough need for humans. :)

- We don't seem to get another turn on doubles which is fine if that is expected. :)

- Sounds can go a long way.

Well, if you own them and another player lands on them they have to either pay a tax based on the properties worth, or they can attempt to plunder where the dice are rolled. If the plunderer wins he takes money from the owner, if the owner wins he takes double the tax from the plunderer.

The more properties you own of the same color the more the tax is. I forgot to actually add that part so it's nice you brought this up. =)

Also, there will be different colors for every player. Based on these colors the places you own will have an alpha transparent overlay. They will also display the upgrades you have made to increase tax.

The reason for clicking them, would be to see who owns them(since all of the piece are black this doesn't really help), how much they are valued so if you land on a property you can decide if you want to buy it or not, if it's owned if you want to pay the tax or plunder it, if it's for sale by the owner and for how much. If you own the property this is where you can set if it's for sale, for how much and upgrade it.

There will be a help file once the game is ready for serious play.

This can be a problem at first. But if you are in a game with multiple people, and you have to keep paying taxes, especially once these people start upgrading their properties you can start losing serious gold. Thus you have to figure out when to buy, when to sell, when to plunder, and when to just pay the tax. This really isn't involving right now because I have the gold set when you pass go at a pretty high amount. Once the game is ready for some real beta testing you will get a real feel for it.

I never really thought about this. Doubles get you out of the dungeon, that's really all they do. I can add rolling doubles for another turn, though.

I thought about this, but I figured most people would be playing music or something else. I have sounds for dice rolling, and I could dig up some other sounds. I just didn't think anyone would really request them. =)
