BYOND member Tayoko is asking for photographs from BYOND users to help with his Custom Avatar Portraits system. Give him some help if you can. I was also interested in doing a portrait of myself as a personal challenge, so I gave it my best shot. After finishing the portrait, I started playing around with it, giving myself an eyepatch, grin with missing teeth, scars, and pirate hat. I then went back to the original and made myself as I might look when I'm older.
When I stepped back to examine my work, that's when I realized the horrible truth YOU WILL ALL ENCOUNTER SOME DAY: I am my father.
...Well, I am my father + beard.

Won't happen for me. My dad's always been.....fat. I'm taller than him, and far from fat.

It's partially a dominance thing, but mostly it's the body's way of dealing with not being able to forage as well as it used to: It stores the food as fat for energy later. My dad was thin as a rail when he was my age, so were his brothers, and so am I and mine. I have no doubt I'll be much larger when I'm older, just like my uncles. .....:: And Just like YOU ::..... MWAHAHAHA! |

Hahaha, I don't doubt that I'll be a fat grumpy man. I'm just saying that I won't be as fat(or grumpy)...most of my features are from my mom, more specifically my grandfather(mother's father). I'll look like him most likely. |

Thanks for the plug, Ian.
Excelent work on these. The only thing I'm not to fond of is that bit of dither'ish/textury shapes here and there that feel, in my opinion, a bit misplaced. Loving the Pa' edit, hehe. |
