Apparently they ran the whole race that way. And fast, judging by the time on the clock (they must have started in the first wave). I didn't even notice them while I was running.

Ok, I looked up the bib number on the gorilla (20030) and it doesn't show a finishing time or place. Interesting. Maybe they did jump in late and didn't actually run the whole way. I know I didn't notice them out on the course!
