I fixed the bug where you could walk through walls at the end of the screen transitions. I updated the hub page with the new verion: http://www.byond.com/games/Fugsnarf/1bitSpaceAdventure
|
I could create my hub, but I'm not sure how to get the post I made in its forums on the Game Updates section of BYOND's forums. It's incomplete, so it won't be listed. However, the Game Updates section says it shows posts for incomplete games.

Motherboard Madness left me with less than I was expecting. Me too. We had a lot more planned including an entire plot line, but just didn't have the time to implement it. It's just an excuse, but we didn't have time because I spent half the week working (I've worked 4-10 every day this week except Tuesday, but I had something to do that day that took up about the same amount of time). I had also planned to add some acceleration-based damage to discourage players from making daring jumps. I'm probably going to remove the fall speed cap so it's more realistic. |

5. The Nexus by EmpirezTeam- What? Seriously? Yeah! I love experimental indies more than anything else and this game really hit it hard for me. I know it was mostly a joke and that the game-play is ridiculously abstract and counter-intuitive, but it's a funny joke and the unique experimental adventure game-esque game-play is very refreshing to see and managed to win my number five spot. I hope you realize that wasn't more than a joke and isn't even in the contest. |
That's because your game didn't have frogs in it.
Unless they were stealthy ninja frogs and were hidden in the shadows where no one could see them. o.O |
Chaos Keys? I really like the artwork but the game seems to have imense lag issues; which resulted in my death numerous times.

It froze up when I died. I have no idea what you could possibly be doing when the player dies to make it freeze.

It clears up after a few moments; it does the same thing when you start the game up and in the second level I got sent back to the start screen.

This was definitely a fun contest to participate in. Unfortunately, I essentially had no internet/computer access Friday and was unable to complete my entry.
At least this this event had a good turnout. I cannot wait to check the games out! |

I would go for it. It was pretty simple, but I liked how Sword was so far. My only problem with it was how short it was. Finish the tutorial, and add actual levels, and it could be pretty good.

There's just something about lighting in this contest. My game's had the code, but I didn't feel like including it.
Tis the year of the tiki torch, I say. If only BYOND's opacity wasn't so... |
Rocket Down is being hosted.. while I goto the fair. ;3 Find all the bugs you can so I can fix them! :D

I'm wondering how the judging process is going/works.
I'm also hoping my game doesn't have any more bugs in it either ... OH. I did manage to increase text speed, and shrink size a bit. I'm working on making it possible to skip to the end of a block by pressing W (activate) and then pressing again continues. I'm also probably going to shrink the box down, give it a nice border and background and possibly include mugshots. What do you guys think of those changes? |

So Who won The results have not yet been posted. Nor do I believe Oasis has finished judging every entry. |
Also I noticed you can skip (sort of) in Bravo's game by pressing Escape. It'll skip to the next line.
