I've decided that being the lord of a realm wasn't really my cup of tea. So after handing that off to some guy, I made an offer to take over your one stop party shop. And here I am.

RPG's are fun and all, but they take a lot of time to get into, and I generally don't have the attention span to get into them well enough to be of any use in that area. Casual games however are jump in, have a bit of fun then go back to your daily routine. Something I enjoy doing quite a lot.

Now, as I'm sure everyone has been told by now, BYOND is a great platform for casual/party/board/card games, and I happen to agree. From here on out, it's my job to bring attention to casual games people might be interested in playing after a hard days work. Or even when you just have nothing better to do.

So then, kick back, grab a beer (if you're old enough) and prepare yourselves for some good old fashioned party fun. I have the resources to host casual game sessions (something I didn't have for BYOND RPG) if you have an idea or a game you'd like to try.
Sweet. Maybe you can make this guild a bit more active.
I absolutely agree. BYOND Casual has always been a something I've been interested in. Feval is a prime example. I log in, play a few rounds, then go back to programming or whatever I'm doing. And I repeat this cycle throughout the day. BYOND Casual games are a phenomenon to BYOND in my eyes. I'd totally join this guild and yea if I could!
I'v had quite a few ideas for some Casual Games but i could never quite grasp the intrest i needed in most of my projects i never finished (4 Flash Drives Full Of Useless Coding)

I would really like to see new games (Not Ripped Ones)on byond. Some i can play with friends or with others for fun;A Game with a great community.

Okay, so I've gone through the pending games submissions, accepted three and dropped two (which once the developers get a hold of me, will undoubtedly get in here).

I've hardly started my barrage on the forums yet. Most of the posts date back to '08, some even '07. I've emptied the Events forum. I figure that I'll either clear finished events off the forum to remove confusion and keep old threads from gathering dust or make a new forum for "Old Events" that have posts describing how fun the event was and peoples thoughts and theories on the games they played. I'll let you guys decide what you think should happen there.

Again, I'd like to remind people that BYOND Casual encourages it's members to actively participate in the guild. If you want to review a game, submit a game review, I'll read through it to see if it's up to scratch. If it isn't, I'll clean up the spelling mistakes and/or grammar issues OR I'll provide feedback as to why I can't accept the post presently and help you to get your review to an official guild standard.

If you have any ideas on how to improve the guild, feel free to post in The Guild Forum, and we'll see what can be done.

Remember, casual games are all about having a bit of fun now and then. So let's try to get this guild active and enjoyable for all, together.
Glad to have you on the team. :)
I must say, even though it'll be a rough job getting this guild back on track again, I have faith that a Tiberath-Foomer team will get it done just fine.

I suggest honestly doing something similar to the Tech Tree. I know that you probably don't want to be copying off of the Strategy guild, but the Tech Tree is the only reason I play the new games that come out. I'm sure you've read at least one article of it. Has the game, a picture, and a brief description. Keeps me up to date with the latest strategy games, and if it weren't for it, I may not have found most of the games I play today. (Efencea, as an example)

So yeah, I really suggest something like that. Would help the guild, and would boost the amount of games played. Maybe throw in some good older games that need some recognition, like a game review of the week or something?
I'm looking forward to this guild. If you do host an event, be sure to post on this blog so I can participate. Also, I could provide some compensation, if needed.

I'm way ahead of you in that field. Not only have I spent two hours (while trying to sleep) thinking of events and how to finance them, but I've also come up with a neat method of advertising them that will probably take me the better most of tomorrow to whip up, run by the powers that be, announce and begin using.

I'll be less vague tomorrow when I'm sure it can be done and the powers that be have given me the go ahead.
