I moved a couple projects onto a flash drive so I can work on them on the bus ride which has been working out great. Getting PLPM to run on the laptop will take some work because it requires a SQL Server install plus several external tools that get called from the project. I'll work on that though.

Anyway, all my efforts have been on the MapEditor. It's supposed to be the starting project for a open(ish) Dungeon Crawler project but I've got all sorts of thoughts (doubts) going through my head.

Am I just recreating the BYOND map editor?
Hasn't this been done time and time again? Hrrmm. . There are a couple would be map editors. I know there are a handful floating around which are map editors for specific games.

Anyway, as of this morning, I was able to make it so you can add a new icon to the .dmi file and without changing any code, the new icon will show up as generic stamp. I've got turfs and objs working so far although this screenshot shows no objs.

I've got a few map editing tricks down like shift+click to build a rect and rotate.

It's been a fun project though.

That's why on almost every Mitadake High custom map there's a hidden room filled with Death Notes and computers.

Yeah, you can name one game. Not everyone's a total asshat when they make things like that. Nice pick, being an anime game and all.

That's very true, the BYOND Anime community are filled with childish children.
