...hasn't seen these two clips back to back:

Jay Leno 5 years ago: http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/6d1caacad1/ jay-s-2004-announcement

Jay Leno trying to save face this week: http://www.thejaylenoshow.com/video/clips/jays-pov/1194348/

I'm serious. Watch them both. And then watch this, because David Letterman is my hero for calling Jay out on his BS: http://www.cbs.com/late_night/late_show/ video/?pid=xGyaX8GaopgJzFoYz96ZLHL_Wbs3yO8s&play=true&vs=Def ault

Thankfully Conan will probably end up at Fox, like he would have done 5 years ago anyway if Leno wasn't a complete jack ass.
Big deal. Do you do anything but insult people? :|

I have strong opinions and I express them. Why people fixate on only the "negative" things I say is beyond me.

Jay Leno screwed Conan over. That's a fact. Funny that you ignored the fact that I'm giving Conan and Letterman high praise for standing up to Leno.
Conan deserved more than 7 months to build the ratings up--if NBC thought it was going to have the same high ratings when obviously some people would jump ship with a change of hosts, they were delusional. He also deserved to have a strong primetime schedule to keep that audience around. The truth is NBC's primetime troubles were always the root of its late night troubles, and their repeated inability to make good programming decisions has pushed them into this mess.
Agreed. I've been searching everywhere for Leno's ratings numbers from when he first start back in the 90's, because he was no where near first place for a very long time.

Not only was Conan not given a chance, he had the burden of Leno at 10 PM cannibalizing viewers and driving away his lead-in audience. Local NBC affiliate newscasts around the country lost about 25% of their viewership due to Leno, so Conan definitely took a major hit from that as well.

The idiots in charge definitely caused this problem, but Leno's complete lack of ethics or class created the perfect storm for trouble. I also think that behind the scenes Leno has been gunning for his old timeslot back for awhile, as evidenced by stuff like this from November: http://www.movieline.com/2009/11/ andy-richter-questions-whether-jay-leno-is-classy-on-behalf- of-everyone.php
