I gave up on level 15. =p Good job.

And now, Mount & Blade. Has anyone downloaded v version 0.730 beta? It's AWESOME. There's stuff like sneaking into enemy towns, castles, castles you can own, castles *you can seige*. Every town has a 3D courtyard you can walk, jump on and explore, and the combat has been sped up, tweaked and has better performance.

Yay. Go get it (and I hope you've all bought the game by now =p).

Yay. Level 15 is a toughy
There's also a flintlock gun in the new version of M&B. It owns. :D
Holy crap, M&B updated? Well, better dust off my uber-1337 warrior...

!SPOILER!

Here's a tip for level 15: Try to get the horizontal red cars at the top pushed to the sides and the vertical police car and yellow car in the center pushed to the top between them. Once you get it there, the rest should be simple.
Heh, glad you liked it. It didn't actually take that long to make. Simple is good, especially when you only have 8k to work with. =)

M&B updated? OOH! OOH! Cool!

Now to find my registration details... I hope they're around here somewhere!
Muahaha! I have never played M&B! Take that internet!

If you already unlocked the game once, you shouldn't have to do it again.
And even if you're using a different computer now, you can still unlock the game a second time with the same serial key.

Presumably, that's what he's talking about... He's hoping he still has his serial key...

I'd assume that he has uninstalled his original copy of M&B, and that's why he's worried about having to re-enter his registration info/serial...

[Edit:] And speaking of the game, I just downloaded and installed the latest version... Elation is right, it's a lot cooler now (not that it wasn't cool before)!

The overworld map has more variety in land cover (there's a snowy area, and what appears to be a desert, and so forth), and these regions are carried over into the village square maps for each town... Time also plays more of a role, as I entered a town at night, and I got a message saying "It is late night, and all honest folk have abandonned the town streets" or something like that... Pretty cool touch (although the towns are already sparse for people, and the shopkeepers were still in their stalls, so I assume there's no real change aside from the message...lol but, it's a sign of things that are planned later on...)

I haven't gotten into any real battles yet (just destroyed the training guys, so I could get in a few arena matches), but it definitely does seem to be faster...

The only unfortunate thing is that old savefiles are not compatible with this new version (actually, it looks like there's been one or two others between the one I had installed and now), so my character had to be reborn...

Now I know what it feels like when I do the same to the DBTC players...lol I understand why, but it still sucks... Oh well...

That was in an update months ago. =p

Yah, certainly they're gonna expand on that. At night, you can't get into the tavern either. Or is the store. One of the two.

Saves aren't compatible with any new update, unfortunately. =(

Get into some big battles. Oh- and make sure you look on the options page. My computer is a 1.8 GHz AMD Athlon with a gig of RAM and a 256 MB Geforce FX 5500 graphics card, with the graphical settings set to full. It looks great, but playing on maps with the new 3D grass bogs my frame-rate down to like, 5 FPS- so make sure you disable the 3D grass if you find your PC can't handle it. The one developer for the game will prolly optimise it later, though. =)

Bingo, except that I didn't actually uninstall it as such - I just got a new computer, with a new hard drive. =)

This new update is awesome - I think it's actually balanced a bit better, too (by which I mean it's easier ;-D).

And I've *just* found my serial number. Thank you, Thunderbird search! Now if you'll all excuse me, I'm going to continue levelling my horse archer...
Yeah, I saw that there had been some previous updates that I missed... I had checked almost relgiously for updates when I was playing the game regularly, but none came until after I stopped looking...lol
