Arcade fightstick

I've recently purchased a tournament edition round 2 fightstick for SFIV, and i'd have to say it was probably one of my better gaming investments.



It takes getting used to at first, but once you get used to the controls, it's well worth it. The buttons are solid and the stick works great, and it is easy to place on your lap or on a surface while playing.

It's USB so it can also plug into the computer and work with programs such as GGPO or 2dfighter.

There are many different versions made by Madkatz; all of which have excellent offers over Newegg.com.

If you want to add to your ability on console/PC fighting games, it would be in your interest in to looking into one of these.

apparently using an arcade stick for SF4 makes you a sucky faggot who uses an unfair advantage to beat others

Wait, is that your opinion or just opinions you've heard of? You're just as capable of winning with a 360 controller or a Fightpad as you are with a fightstick. It's all about how well you are at performing inputs on them.

And spamming hadoken has never been a problem for me in SFIV. Infact, it's usually the downfall of others.

i was referring to the ordinary crybaby nature of people who play competitive games (i actually have heard people say both of those things)

i haven't even played SF4

Oh I see. Well, every game is competitive. If they don't want to spend $40-150 on a peripheral then that is their choice. When you play online, the other person won't know what type of control method you are using.

On that note, it takes time to develop your skill on the fightstick. I'm still learning the controls on it, but even then i've noticed how much more fluent the controls are.
