Xbox 360

It's been a couple of months now and my dad keeps saying he's gonna get a PS3, but im tired of waiting. Many have urged me to sell the 360 and then buy the PS3, but my goal is to have all 3 major systems (Wii, Xbox 360, PS3). So should i really trade a 360 for a PS3 or keep the 360 and keep waiting for my dad to get the PS3?

Why would you sell a 360 for a PS3? They don't have any good games.

Their exclusives are shit.

I have all three. The Wii I would say is next to worthless. It just collects dust. My XBox 360 is the most used, but also collects a lot of dust. =P My PS3 is pretty much just used for any games that don't come out on XBox. Which now a days isn't many. I would honestly say it's not worth it due to the following factor.

The Live Marketplace. Being able to download extra content for games is why I buy multi-console games solely for the XBox.

Now on top of this Fable 3 is coming soon, as well as rumors of a new Elder Scrolls game. To me the PS3 is a XBox 360 with less games. Granted there are a couple PS exclusives that are good, (Metal Gear, ...). Well the others I were going to say aren't PS3 exclusive anymore...

Indeed. The 360 has a good line-up for releases this year. Including Metal Gear =)

Depends on your opinion. MAG is going to be awesome (more awesome then the beta, which, while I disliked it at first, addicted me the next day), and some good games that are already out include Uncharted (and probably Uncharted 2, though I have yet to get through the last 3 chapters of Uncharted), Ratchet and Clank (awesome platformers), Infamous (a bit repetitive towards the end, but still great) Killzone, etc.
