Ok I admit I do sometimes break those rules and it doesn't help that I have always been terrible at using then and than at their respective places.

At least you can understand most of what he's saying, which is better than some of the posters in Developer Help.

My only real comment on the OP would be that Google and Youtube are a no-no when it comes to Dream Maker.
Dream Maker isn't used outside of BYOND, so Googling it isn't going to bring you to any forum better than this one right here.
Also, every Youtube video you can find is suckish at best. They teach bad practices because 99% of the Youtube posters are the kids who think that just because they have a source code that they own a game.

Well it depends. Sometimes I start to assume proper grammar and encounter your instead of you're and spend like 5 minutes thinking my what?.
