Well, why not switch to Team Fortress? =D Because when I shoot someone in the face, I expect them to die. Keep your RPG health elements out of my FPS please. |

I guess the only winning move is not to play. I'll keep tabs on the thread though, just in case you feel like explaining your arguments rather than throwing out random video game hate.

I didn't know this was a debate and that I had to explain myself for disliking a game. I'm sure that your statement about the whole subject makes you feel like a big man though, all intelligent and shit. I'm also pretty sure though, that what I said about it was a good enough explanation for why I didn't like it. Because when I shoot someone in the face, they're supposed to die. That's just the way things are supposed to work. If I wanted to play an RPG, I'd play Borderlands.

Tiberath, I donated some of my pubic hair to you, how come it's not in your tip jar?

Do I feel like a big man? Actually, in this case I kinda do. Your last post read like some 8-year-old taunting another kid over a dispute about some toy.
The thing is, if you shoot someone in the face they do actually die. You don't gain experience, you don't level up. One could claim Modern Warfare 2 is more of an RPG than Team Fortress 2. So, you're upset because some weapons do more damage than others? That's how all games work. You don't like health points? RPG's aren't the only games with health points. You aren't making any sense. |
Every FPS I've played before TF2, aside from Halo, which is a pile of shit anyways so it doesn't matter, if you shoot someone in the face, they fall down and die. It's called a headshot. However, despite the fact that you clearly have very little knowledge of TF2, unless you're a sniper, shooting someone in the face only kills them if they're weak, from already being shot elsewhere. Therefore; you're dumb.

The Spy can get a headshot as well, but that's besides the point. Headshots are in the game. You can't get headshots with every weapon but they're there. You can't really expect to get headshots with the flamethrower or rocket launcher.
As for Halo, that's a whole other discussion I'd rather steer clear of. I'll just say I've had more fun mowing people down in a warthog with a friend than I've had with other games in their entirety. |
