Make sure to check your firewall! I used to port forward and have the same problem. Then I realized it was my firewall.

To edit the connection through your firewall

Go into your firewall settings.

Go to Inbound Rules.

Right click and select Dream Daemon and select Properties.

In the Action sub section in General, select Allow the connection.

Make sure to press Apply and OK!
