Last week, I posted about my computer breaking down and all that. Yesterday, I found out that the computer's repairs will cost upward of $200 bucks. The problem? Apparently my laptop was built defectively. The repairs(according to the place I brought it to), involve taking out the entire mother-board and replacing it. In other words, they're putting a new computer's brain in my computer's body, one month after my warranty ran out.

I'll cut to the chase: All my files are being erased. I spoke on the phone with an employee at the shop, and I learned this. I also learned that they could "Save" certain things I had on the computer. I'm very lucky, in a sense, because about two months ago, in a bout of organization, I put all of my important files and things in to one big folder. In other words, all my important things are saved, but my computer's history is erased, meaning that I can re-apply for all those Trial-Based things for another month!

Finially, Let me say this: Teh Blobz will live on! Work will continue once I get the computer back, and I'll be working twice as much to get it out soon!
Play WoW with me. :)
Why did they have to erase the hard drive to install a new motherboard? Doesn't make any sense to me...
I didn't mean just the Motherboard. I meant the whole thing. That was just a writing error on my part.
Ah. That explains it.
