Mapping does not really need to be learnt, you choose an icon which has to be programmed in, and choose where to put it.

What you'll have to do is make sure all turf items are coded in.
Check the DM Guide for turf, area, mob and obj for these are what you make the map with. Then, make a map file ( .dmm ). From there, you click on the coded turf, area, mob, or obj from your left in the list. Then place it on the map. There are several tools you can use such as Add, Fill and Select. Along with Click Behavior, Zoom, Icon Type and etc. in Options. ;) EDIT; This should help you as well, http://www.byond.com/developer/ . There are various libraries and demos that teach some mapping. Mostly just coding the items but it's worth a shot looking. |

In the future, telling someone to kill themselves is a really bad idea. You need to remember that there are consequences for what you say and do.
There are laws in place, where if he had killed himself, you would have been in a world of trouble. |

Rugg being BYOND Anime's staff, that's a risky business he pulled off telling someone to kill themselves. Joke or not. Staff are meant to be professional, not childish. |

Rugg that isn't something to "complain" about, people have been held accountable before when shit like that really happens. Or do you just completely and utterly ignore the news altogether?
The internet is slowly becoming more and more "serious business" all the time. Laws are being put into place, people are being held responsible for what they do. Let's just say hypothetically Taco did kill himself. Usually when shit like that happens they take stuff like computers and cell phones into police custody to investigate them. There is a chance they could have found the post about you telling him to kill himself, checked into your profile, saw what kind of person you are, got your IP address, tracked it to your ISP, found out where you lived. If they went that far, then why wouldn't the parents try to press charges? And what if you were found guilty? I'd say at best, involuntary man slaughter. Be a fuck if you want, I don't care, I happen to troll a lot of websites myself, but at least be more responsible about what you say. And if Rugg is really apart of BYOND's Anime staff then he should really conduct himself in a much better manner, because as of right now, he doesn't make BYOND or the Anime Guild look good in the least. |
If you're taking the internet comment that seriously, I think that's just hilarious. Simply based on the fact that it would never happen.
I highly appreciate the otherwise long and elaborate reply. I don't see how the anime guild relates to any of my posts in general. I'm not representing the guild everywhere I go, and Tacos certainly does not either. These are very good reads though. I've never seen someone try this hard to reply to one of my posts; more so when said post is something as minuscule as that. My recommendation is to be more realistic with your replies so I don't have to smirk at the entire attempt. |
