Hello BYOND. It has been quite some time since I last posted anything here, I just decided a break was in order. When I came back I found that someone had used a load of my old work and decided it was probably best to start a new project altogether(The source to Faymoor is basically destroyed, when I left it it worked perfectly).

This new game is a space age action-rpg. It is called Odyssey 15, it is set in a colony on a distant planet where the inhabitants struggle daily to fight of the native creatures. All the programming and pixel art is done by myself, I've given up trusting other people so the burden falls to me. Odyssey 15 is not really in a presentable state. ,I have a test map and a quite a varied selection of turfs(this takes time as I'm doing all of it so don't expect speedy progress), I have also completed the basis of the HUD and have the rest of character stuff planned.

My main reason for posting this is I am looking for a small group of people who are willing to spend time(not being paid) to hunt out bugs in a game that is not even in alpha stage. I would appreciate the help so much and I don't have a lot left to do before it is n a testable state.

Tasks left before testing:
-add attack verb and animation.
-make AI mobs.
-make stat gain system work properly.

If you would like to help please leave a comment in this format:

Things about yourself that you think would help you test effectively:

Thank you to anyone that applies I will page you if you make the final cut, The page will include any details about when testing will take place. A little perk of being an early tester is that you get to see what the game looks like before anyone else, aren't you lucky.

P.s. sorry for not including visual aids but I'd like to keep a sense of mystery until development is set in stone and sorry for any poor grammar(It's really late here)
In the terms of Faymoor, i never touched your original source, i altered the one i originally edited and gave to you that was on my old PC - not Dropbox. The problems your having are most likely the same ones i had over the period i opened the source again. They're just basic bugs due to things changing in the involved libraries, use old versions/update the current source and it will work fine.

Also, due to your request i started revamping Akriso, so you have nothing to worry about in terms of that. The only thing I'm keeping is the in-game interface which although looks pretty much the same was changed drastically in terms of programming. Therefore since the art was basic and simple i decided to keep it. I'll however revamp that as well, if needed.

I'm posting this here since you haven't replied to a page since I had to ban you from Akriso's forum for cluttering it with comments that had nothing to do with the game. I kept your initial comments on there. Feel free to delete this if you want.

In terms of the game your making now, it seems interesting. I'll be looking forward to it.
Well I'm over Faymoor now couldn't care less I just don't want the art used is all. As for this game well it seems to have generated no interest at all so forget the whole private test I'll just open the test to the public, might be a little awkward though seen as I can't make hubs anymore.

If you need someone I can try and find some bugs.
It's not actually ready yet but once it is I'll post a link to a server or something.
Ill see if i can buy you a membership once i get paid as an apology for the misunderstanding we had. Don't worry, i won't use the art you originally provided since you requested me to remove it. I didn't think you would mind because the first time i told you id be using it you had no objections.
Well if you want to then sure. I think when you asked me I was either not there or wasn't payin attention because I don't remember being asked at all. When I get back from holiday I'll see if I can sort out the HUD on akriso for you, I should be able to as I originally coded it and I have loads of experience with FA's HUD library.
That would be great, but I worked out the issues with the inventory and such. Same with the chat toggle button. The only problem I'm left with is the overlapping chat, which I believe i fixed, however it would be nice if you could look into that.
Well if you show me and tell me exactly how it happens I'll do my best.
Check Akriso's Bug Report forum. Thats all the information i currently have. I tried a few things by adding line deletion and such to the chat but im unsure if it works, as i said, ive never tested it.
Okay then.
