Aion is good until you reach 24 then the grind is long and enduring if you want to complete each quest before leveling...
Problem with Aion is too many kids that are immature and cause problems to disrupt the game play and bots of chinese gold sellers.
I played Aion making two characters lvl 3x with 2xx crafting in handi/alchemy
I have also made a lvl 24 Assassin with 100 Tailoring.
I tell you people. the game just isn't worth playing, I'm looking forward to... dun dun dun....
Blade & Soul :)
also if you decide to ignore my warning of playing Aion, don't go elyos its long, quests too far apart etc.. go Asmodian. They not only have the upperhand on some things but also look cooler in gear.
There is no good MMOs, ever.
Additionally, anytime anyone is excited for, or hypes an MMO, it will inevitably turn out to be a huge disappointment. My advice, find a new genre of game to play. |
Way to be completely biased, TMM. Just because you don't like MMOs doesn't mean they automatically suck.

Blade & Soul is a great example of such, and Champions Online does a pretty good job too! Also Gunz I think had interactive combat. Give them time, not all of them are failing these days, there getting better. It won't be long before you can't truly tell the difference between an MMO and something you'd buy for your 360/PS3 by the gameplay. |
Blade and soul will be purchasable on the PS3 so the fact of MMO's becoming a game you'd consider buying for your PS3/360 has already happened in this case, it uses the Unreal Tournament Engine to the fullest to pull of its fighting styles and game play.

I've been playing online games since 9600 baud modems and it was on muds. Since then, I've tested easily over 1,000 games as a hobby since I've done this, I've learned how games work and also the programming mechanics behind a lot of the games since after all. I'm going to be going back to for my 2nd degree, but this time in the gaming field instead of satellite communications. The difference between a pc and a console is the fact you can upgrade your graphics card and overclock the rendering aspects of it some with custom drivers and even increase the speed to reduce load meaning not so laggy areas. Also the fact that you really dont have to worry about the system overheating if you decide to play for over 20 hours on a weekend. oh, and the area load times are quicker ;) hdmi widescreen monitors ftw |
I have long been awaiting Blade and Soul with its free style movement fast paced combat, mixed fighting styles and its uniquely superior martial arts fighting involved.
