I actually own the game, I bought it for 30 a while back due to all the hype and then realized 90% of the time you can't get out of the spawn area without getting shot in the foot by some super elite gun and die in one hit.

or maybe its more realistic than most games getting shot several times. tch 1 hit or 2 hit is enough in real life. :P

i played it for a bit since i had it from the orange box, and it's just.... an old shooter. the controls are solid and everything, but the game is just too dated. there are too many better options out there at this point

i just checked the steam store, and CS:S isn't listed in the orange box package. i remember getting CS:S bundled with something else, though. maybe some half life thing?

it came with a bunchof other stuff, including some kindof halflife2 multiplayer thingy.

also teka, 50 cent got shot 9 timez and still didnt die.

Wasn't the whole 9 shot thing a hoax? I don't own this game either, but it's $5 so someone else might enjoy it.

I wonder how many people bought it thinking they were getting the source for Counter Strike. Then they could modify it and give themselves GM.

You do get access to the SDK, which lets you make mods and what-not.

I haven't played CS:S in ages, I wonder if my favorite server is still up...
