I am not trying to be an ass or anything, I am just speaking the truth. I like what you are doing here though, so keep it up. =/

Speaking of BYOND Mail, I get this whenever I try to login.
ERROR: ERROR: Connection dropped by IMAP server. |

Seems to be working for me - might have been a small hickup. Try again. I've been consistently getting this error upon login with [email protected] http://imageftw.com/uploads/20091205/Error.PNG |
We've already provisioned two IPs to serve BYONDHost - there will most likely be two 'subdomains' serving BYOND Hosting - and they'll both be supporting each other and balancing clients to ensure maximum efficiency.
We are in the process of setting up billing systems, acquiring the appropriate licenses to make sure the billing system works perfectly and to provide domain reselling if a client so wishes it. Most of the provisioning will take around 24 hours and then we'll be getting to work on actually implementing the systems into the site - we are planning to use a mix between WHMCS for billing and account control, a cpanel for your webserver (yes, I know, how cool is that?) and a system similar to that of Tiberath's control panel to handle BYOND Hosting. |
I voted for the 'Between $1 and $5 per month for a set amount of space and bandwidth' option. As for the requested comment on specification, that is tricky, since there is a rather great gap from 1 to 5 dollar. For a more concrete reply, you'd have to refine the poll.
As for the reason I voted for this option, it is simple. The average BYOND customer doesn't have much incentive to spend money, as can be seen when looking at Classified Ads, or the amount of membership purchases, so it seems logic to go with a minimum price scale and optional bigger packages. |
