Possible new game. .

Well, I was bored, while doodling, of course and came up with an idea for a game. Of course, it's still an idea, however.

My idea is basicly a simple, side scrolling adventure game similar to the old school mario games. However, you are a doodle in a world of paper and pencils. You begin you're quest when the 'Erasers' come into the story and start erasing the world of [Undetermined].
I'm still thinking up things, but it will be a single player game, Thats a fact.

As I said, It's still just an idea that will likely be rolled into action, If it hasn't already been made.
Anyway, give me you're ideas and such.

Sounds like a good idea, i could never think of somthing like that.... well maybe if i put my mind to it, but you should really try and make it it sounds fun!

Alright.

I jotted a couple notes down and started the basic design of the male player.

I don't know how to work the combat though. Should I have a macro that shoots some sort of missile that kills enemies upon contact or the old school mario where you jump on them to defeat an enemy. .

Sounds like a good idea.
Even then mario did not just jump on his enemys to kill them.

I like the idea, but your work ethic [I am sorry to say] sucks more than a plunger strapped to a turbo-powered vacuum cleaner in a black hole.
It would be great if you finished it.
In addition to the fact that it's an excellent concept, it would be nice to see new games pop up that aren't like NARUTO BLEACH SHINOBI DRAGONBALL SOUL UNLIMITED FURY BANKAI WHALE SHIT.

Well, here's an idea.

I'm assuming your character will be the one holding a pencil, so perhaps if the pencil was used as a weapon, it would get duller the more you use it. Just like in RPG games, you'll eventually have to take your weapons to a blacksmith. But in here, there could be a pencil sharpener that sharpens your pencil(although, the more you sharpen it, the more your pencil starts to diminish), rofl.

Just a little thought I had after reading this post.

That's actually a really good idea.
I honestly wonder where people come up with the golden ideas like this one.
