Descriptive Problem Summary:
This one is hard to explain so bare with me. In a private host with a friend, he initiated a pvp battle against me. It went fine at first and he won, but on the display screen it somehow merged into a mini game of tank battle but stayed on the "win" screen of the pvp battle. I was able to shoot as if i were a tank but it was my character, and we could not move. Our hp changed to the normal heart style of the tank game as well. I killed my friend, even though he had beaten me in the pvp match, and at the end it somehow took both of our shields. Not only that, but we were both bugged from then on, not being able to roll. Every time it would say "you have already rolled" or something to that affect.
His model also changed from his normal character, to a tank(the unhighlighted kind of shadow tank, when you are destroyed) graphic. He too then could not roll afterwards.
My thought is that somehow the mini game chosen for that square, tank game, went and initiated too fast before we were officially done with the pvp battle.
I tried a new board and initiated a pvp battle again, this time with no problems. So either it was just an extremely rare coincidence, or if a tank game succeeds the pvp battle perhaps it needs to wait a bit longer?
Numbered Steps to Reproduce Problem:
1. Initiate pvp battle with another player
2. Have tank mini-game succeed
Code Snippet (if applicable) to Reproduce Problem:
Expected Results:
Pvp game should end, then move to tank mini-game if it is the chosen game for that round.
Actual Results:
Does the problem occur:
Every time? Or how often?
In other games?
In other user accounts?
On other computers?
When does the problem NOT occur?
Did the problem NOT occur in any earlier versions? If so, what was the last version that worked? (Visit http://www.byond.com/download/build to download old versions for testing.)
Workarounds:
None, the game was then unable to play. Even after loading from save it was ruined and a new game had to be started.
