When you host, the only way to join your server is by opening the dream daeon icon on your taskbar(were time and date is at) and then click the thing that looks like 2 roads turning into one.

Hi awfulstorm,

If you are hosting the server on the same computer that your attempting to connect from, you should be able to also join by opening the BYOND pager > File > Open Location... > type in localhost:<portnumber> > OK.

If you are attempting to connect to the server from a different computer on the same local network, then you should be able to join by opening the BYOND pager > File > Open Location... > type in <Static ip address of the computer hosting the server (192.168.xxx.xxx)>:<portnumber> > OK.

Good luck!

Yeah but i kinda got that but I'm sure if people can join, i can join from my own network but im not sure if people can join to my network, from other people's computer.

If you post the BYOND address of the server that you're hosting, we can attempt to connect to it and report back accordingly.

try this im hosting right now byond://127.0.0.1:4567
Unfortunately, the only person who will be able to join though that link is you, as 127.0.0.1:4567 is identical to localhost:4567

What we need to have a chance at successfully connecting is your public IP followed by your port number (4567) in the byond:// link format (example: byond://67.140.22.15:4567)

Good luck!

The Firewalls are all off. what else is there to see?
Your PORT open according to - http://ping.eu/port-chk/

On a side note you more than likely won't be able to connect to your external IP address.

You should be using 127.0.0.1 or localhost.
It would appear that I'm unable to connect to connect to your server.

Your best bet would be to take another look at your firewall and port-forwarding configurations. Try downloading Port checker and see what it reports for your port status.
Okay i just did pf port checker okay i guess all i could say is the port number i checked is 4567 says your port is open then on UDP your port is not open... confused or idk it may be something with the irewall but all the firewalls are off
