There is a game called Epic on the games its in the date category page 2. They allow you to host games. So, i decided to do that, i can log in to the server from my computer.. BUT, when i go on the BYOND website and go to live games and try to play the connection always fails and i don't really understand because it says on Dream Daemon that the game is indeed open for connections and all that but it won't connect on the BYOND site so players can get on.. Is this just me or is my server really NOT online?

My Router can't portforward, i have tried I don't know how many times and for some odd reason it just wont portforward and im not really sure why..can you help me portforward?
|
Sure, but we'll need more information.
First, we need to know what brand and model number your router is, Then we will be able to use a guide found at Portforward.com to walk though the steps necessary. Have you already tried following one of those guides for portforwarding? If so, can you be more specific as to where you ran into trouble, or what isn't working? Have you established a static IP address for your computer? Do you use just a router, or do you have a modem and a router? If so, what brand and model number is your modem? |
Yeah that always used to happen to me but I switched my IP to static and it works like a charm now. http://portforward.com/help/setup_static_ip_address.htm

I just tried out the server that the site reports that your hosting on the Epic hub page, and I was also unable to connect.
Try rechecking your port forwarding configurations, and make sure that none of your firewalls are restricting or blocking Dreamdaemon.exe.
Good luck!
