Anime Icons after a week of iconning. Please Rate

Hello I am an iconner beginner (only been iconning a week) so please take it easy on me. These are based off anime, pictures I based them off will be included below. These are my first anime icons.



I think that both Naruto and first Sasuke look like in the picture and look good. Donald Duck came out very well too in my opinion. The white one, Hyoga, was looking good until I edited it so not anymore. The others don't look like the characters. I gotta improve. I already did. But still much room for growth. So far I can only do cartoons well.

Not bad i must say you are doing well for your first week of iconing.
Add my email and i can give you more pointer's on how to do shading and using the light source.

See if you can draw these on paper. Hell, trace them if you have to. Get used to observing details and reproducing them on canvas.

I drew that monster yesterday and that man about 2 months ago, both without references and both in about five minutes. Pixel art usually starts with lineart... using the same general mechanisms in your brain that runs that stuff

I dont know if thats true and that if i should do it. I think i did pretty good pixelling for a beginner. But maybe i shoukd do kinear art...

i see shading besides being based on light and outline and it seems random. i don't know if shading will help me and besides i don't know how to do it

Wow, that drawing sucks. It's almost as bad as that time you posted yourself singing.

I know a girl that looks JUST like "Unfinished"! That's actually horrifying.

Back on topic, I honestly wouldn't recognize any of these characters except for the 2 narutos. They're the best to me. The thing that I'm guessing is supposed to be Donald Duck looks absolutely horrendous. The 2 sasukes kinda suck too.
