You're running Vista on 1 GB of RAM? Talk about fail.

He is right. 1GB of RAM on Vista is asking for trouble.
Vista is a memory hog to say the least. I have a lot of features on Vista turned off, and it is still using nearly 1GB of RAM, and that is purely Vista and nothing else. I commonly exceed using 2GB of RAM while using Vista (but I have a tendacy to leave programs open, if I closed some it would be much less). RAM is cheap, my advise is get another GB or two of it, or don't bother with Vista and get XP. |
