Fantastic song, isn't it? He's certainly one of the greatest rock musicians of the 20th century. Ry Cooder is doing the slide guitar in this song. He's a fantastic blues-style slide guitarist, has released many albums of his own (I have one, and it's extremely good), and was ranked as the #8 greatest guitarist of all-time in Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.

All-in-all, excellent man and excellent band.
