Elemental:War of Magic is a game I've been looking forward to for awhile and already preordered last year despite it won't even be out until next year. However like most of Stardock's games when you preorder you get to toy around with the early betas give suggestions and stuff. The first beta copy available to preorders was released yesterday and I just love the intro.

Haha well that was mainly showing off the intro which was supposed to be a joke. The developers were always saying and insisting that the graphics would be really toned down in the early betas as compared to what was shown in screenshots on their site to make development of new features and changes much more simple before actually building models and stuff for it all.
There really isn't much to the first beta much like their one for Galactic Civilizations 2. It's mainly for compatibility and basic stability tests with much of the actual gameplay not really being functional or balanced yet. I'll get some actual screenshots of the game in my next post since it does look pretty neat and stylized. | |
